  3. JD Wright sounds good both sides. got one years ago from andy dyson and don't see it too often. watching to see how much it sells for
  4. can the same be said for the soul scene ? or is it the one big club as a focal point that would be a good thing for the soul scene. Was there ever a backlash against wigan as it became popular due to media exposure. Did the core of the scene stay away or keep going ?
  5. no interest yet in the gladys tyler. Do people generally leave bidding till the last few mins or is this record just not going to sell for a lot. Most others with same time to go have had some interest by now.....
  6. I still need a copy if anybody has one very cheap not seriously looked for this so not aware of how low the price has got. on this topic though there are thousands and thousnads of records that could take this title. What we are getting down to here IMO is quality deep soul. Take your pick ....

  17. SOLD. thanks.
  18. it got a mention in the overlooked flip sides thread last week. prehaps it was you who mentioned it not heard this myself but do like all the JR i've heard so far. his other on KKC seems to be largely ignored as well and pretty good.
  19. roosevelt matthews and little nicky soul were each about 2 weeks wages or prehaps a bit more. Both way over what I was generally spendjng at the time. And way over what I spend now per 45 if I think about it. Since sold both as it grated on me that i'd paid the going rate or more will buy back RM if I see it cheap enough. LNS I can live without.

doesn't John do something similar where there is a 2 min window to bid in after last bid even at end..... and when no bids come in that 2 min window thats when it finally ends ? might be wrong on this bit different to ebay which obviously has a fixed finish time.

  22. discounts available to train spotters and signal box obsessives
  23. more of a crooner than a soul singer if you ask me
