For those that know Weno, I've just happened across him in Warrington - he's not changed a bit....if I'm being honest, he's madder than he ever was.
  5. You're such a card Pete...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  6. It'd be like buying a cassette - what's the point??
  7. Me mate back then Duncan played me The Burning Bush - 'Keeps On Burning'...job done.
  8. Hi mate - I'm so, so sorry I had no idea about Janice. I see the video has disappeared and I'm afraid I have no idea where to find it - it's that long ago I can't even remember which vid is it was. Mate, Janice was a big part of the scene I grew up with and am saddened she's no longer here.
  9. Now you see Sam Ward rings my bell, again for the production - it's just a stone groove, it wallops that bassline out.
  10. I didn't get half that for the one I had ('bout three year back mind).
  11. Jesus! Is that what this goes for now?
  12. When you hear the original Valise recording it blows your socks off - the production for the time is amazing.
  13. Both clean as a whistle - both an easy VG+ Mark IV - £350.00 - SOLD Eugene Jefferson - £100.00

  16. ...and I'm sure the box with the lid is Minshull's - that was his spec there.
  17. ...and trying to get the nicotine stains out of your arm when the sweat dripped off the ceiling onto you
  18. You couldn't move anywhere - I remember we got off home about 5am as it was just silly.
  19. Photo is taken from the right hand arch which led into the bar area from the dance floor, (Coke/brew) bar at the back.
  20. NME's go for £7 to £10 a pop on the Bay.
  21. I remember asking the muscly black lad with the blonde hair cut (Wayne Hackett from Leigh when I later was allocated old enough to be allowed to speak to him on a level ) that used to dance to the left of the stage in M's what this instrumental was that I'd heard each time I had been in M's but had no idea what it was...... "'Scuse me mate but what's this?" The reply..... "A Ton Of Dynamite!!" In fucking one! I was sold on this life that I have since lived by, right then and right there. I still miss the intensity of M's. Anyone used to nick in the Casino round the back through M's btw (creep through M's with the lights on, through the double doors by the staircase and down into the Gents toilets and hide in the bogs)? If you did you understood that the Casino was built on an incline.
