Did 'nt John sell over 1 million 45s to Moerer. They also cleared out the record shop stock from Ohio - that had remained untouched from 1972 or thereabouts. John's an interesting guy with many stories - last week he was saying hes got uk soul 45s that he has never seen listed on Manships site or in any pric eguides. Just differing label designs and pressing runs. There is no significance between the earlier red issues say by Detroit Emeralds and the multi coloured design of the 70s . The psych style label suited Westbound' s left field releases of the day however. Some pale blue ones also as stated.

Pete, this has always been around £15/ 20 , but in last twelve months has soared. Recent posike prices are as follows : 2008 - £47, $81 ,$88, $103,£160, $147, and 2009 : £81, $ 147 so pitch it at £100 you 'll get that for some bizarre reason . Obviously a ' big 'name dj has discovered it - despite it being well known for years

Had five copies of this in 81 from label owner direct from Augusta and a press photo if I remember. Sold a spare last year for £167- which I thought was a good price. Until the funk boys checked the flip @ Since I Found My Baby' no one wanted this 45. !!! Was spun heavily circa 1981 via S Sam, Arthur, Poke at the most discerning modern soul clubs of that era.

£40 seems fair on Sam Dees lp , but you may reach £50/ 60 on a certain auction site with a good photo....

Funny old world bought a Tal Armstrong last year £18 , found another one week later sold @ £30 ( After two months listing !!) . Good luck to JM he has a massive database of customers Mark. We'll just struggle on with the scraps....

If you are really fortunate it may reach £100 us collectors search for this for its funk appeal - list it on evil bay....
