Was reviewd in Blues and Soul by Pat Allen(Where's he now) in the mid 80s and i bought that copy off him for £15 when i djed in the modern room at the Miners club in Burnley at the same time.Sold it to Andy Etheridge a couple of years later for £30. Can still remember what i played that night,Herby Brown,Luther Davis,Chosen Few Band,Larom Baker amongst others.Dont have any of them now though . Great ballad on the flip of the Eugene Smiley though.

  7. Defo Freddie Hughes and was the only track on the lp which he appeared,went on to become Baywater Bridge(or had strong ties with the group),awesome vocals. Chris

    The flip of Future 2000 is one of the best sweet/group ballads around dont know if it was on the lp.

    Had an original 45 for over 20 years now and looking at the scan its a very good photo copied label. Remember buying it off Rob Wigley for £80 he told me it skipped half way through,glad i took the chance as it's always played fine. .

  22. You can pick the lp up for about £20,remember it being played at the Backstreet soul club in the mid 80s.
  23. Played the track to a very good mate of mine and he has it,he was pretty sure it was mr Floyd.He will check it out later but he has a fair old pile to go through.
  24. Floyd has done at least 5 CDS since the viynl lp,so their is still 3 more to check out, not sure what label they were on? wilbe? Regards Chris.
