  1. John was simply fantastic. Unless it's a Weekender, this type of talent will never be fully appreciated. Bangor by all accounts was pretty good, Blackburn was well attended, Derby was luke warm and a small crowd in Reading. Sad to say, most of the Northern fraternity want to dance to 'I'll Be Lovin You' not witness the original lead singer performing it live. Our thanks to......Steve Thomas, Alan Jones, Richard Searling, Stuart Heap, Derek Mead, Keith Banks and Martin Fuggles.

  8. Yep It sure was. It was me that gave it that name. I had NY in the brain and wasn't very original! Marboo's What About Love as the NY Generation for instance.
  9. Apologies.....I will re-phrase to answering questions as a report might be a little too daunting to write while the TV is on! Happy to clear up any 73/74 queries though.
  10. Pete sadly I can't tell. But be rest assured only 4 voices during the month of Oct 1974 could have been heard: Russ Winstanley, Kev Roberts, Martin Ellis and possibly Ian Fishwick.
  11. I joined on Sept 30th(the 2nd week in). Pete has truly found a great piece of history. If anyone wants a accurate report of the early days feel free to ask.
  12. Pete- Richard wasn't there in Oct 1973. The DJ team in that month was Russ Winstanley, Kev Roberts and guests either Ian Fishwick or Martyn Ellis.
