I think here in the UK, we take it for granted that everbody,s heard it, specily when it been around for over 30 years. It must be great hearing this and other stuff like it for the 1st time. It is one of I L,s best that for sure.

The odd time the bouncers turned us away, we went to a club in Cleveleys (can,t recall its name) that played Northern. A young Pete Haigh used to go.

I didn,t know it had been booted on the east coast design.

Yes it was special, we were young and it was a exciting time. I wish i could put in words the feeling of walking down the corridor (at the top of the stairs) to the Highroom Room. Hearing new records week in week out, it was magic.

Hi Barry, i really enjoyed the last Prestwich, and it was good to see a few of the old faces there. Stoke was ok but to quote the Kent LP 76 "DANCE FLOOR DISASTER" The fact is too many people have stopped going out, and there wasn,t enough to go around in the first place. No Modern room at Bury Ann. in Oct! kinda says it all. It,s not just me lots of people i talk to have lost that i,ll got to be there feeling. (the looking forward/can,t wait till weekend feeling) E.G. Going back to the Gala Gram Weekenders our group used to have three, sometimes four caravans now when we go out, mostly there,s just me and Lou in the car. Dave.

Well know in the north-west as well. £3/4 was the going rate for the Gamma copy at the time, £1/2 for a Revue copy.
