Soul Choons That You've Forgotten For Years But You Still Love?
i have always liked alaina reeds, dont let me fall in love alone,on capitol, russ always bigged this up at wigan not a stomper but slow to middish tempo with great vocals imo,i still play the 45 quite a lot and i also play my old casino tape with russ playing the said tune from one of his spots around earlyish 1974/5 never went big in my days at all-nighters,i missed late wigan and the stafford era so did this tune ever go big,is it worth much?? not that i would ever sell it,

Don't Laugh - Just Played This And It Sounded Brilliant
a snippet i found on the net, , A totally great little album -- a comedy set that packs the same righteous punch of blacksploitation work from years later! The album's a set of skits penned by Teddy Vann, arranged by Horace Ott, and narrated by James Earl Jones -- all the humorous tale of a black superhero, Coloredman, with a variety of different routines acted out by some additional cast members. There's two short instrumental tracks -- both titled "Colored Man Theme Music" -- which are pretty great, and there's a bit of additional music that's sometimes in the background on the spoken numbers that include "The Story Of Coloredman", "The Adventure Of The Stolen Afternoon", "The Coloredman Interview", and "Coloredman Vs Fruitman".
