  3. Hi all, trying to make a payment through paypal for records ive got on hold off s/s sales section, after ive logged in and clicked on send money, put in the recipients e-mail addy amount there is then underneath the amount a purpose transaction option, so you click on the transaction you want, then go to next, but it keeps sending me an error saying you must select a purpose for your transaction? anybody else having problems with this? have rang them and they told me to open another browser and go through there, but its the same on all browsers? thanks in advance for any help
  4. Was out last night, and got talking to an old friend about this, do we think that, the internet has been good for the soul scene as a whole? at one time if you were a record buyer, the only way you could obtain those elusive wants, was if you travelled to the events, wich brought everyone together, the only way you learnt anything was learning off your peers, and trolling through box after sales box in record bars,or off your weekly paper lists, to me that was a big part of the scene and met many lifelong friends through the sitting and listening to those more knowledgable than myself the events you went to were by word of mouth, when did flyers start being distributed? is things like e-bays, websites etc turning the record collecting scene into an armchair hobby? would just like to hear your views on this
  5. morning dave, ron has major lance you don`t want me no more on canadian epic, also remember lending him £3 for the human beinz on brazillian capitol at wigan, how the hell he new what it was reading the title i`ll never know also its a 7" that plays at 33 rpm. 6. good reading this topic, i know kelboy has been collecting non usa labels for years as has ron pedley from york, theyve both got some intresting stuff on canadian, patrick bradley, lada edmund jnr, it seems to have been a thing with a few of the lads from york, ian ohara who now lives in new zealand had a gloria jones come go with me canadian capitol in the sales section recently, intresting stuff the other foriegn labels as well, could never undertand why a record like frankie beverly-if thats what you wanted, would get a release on GREEK TOP TUNES, and what was the other one i saw recently mr creator on an argentinian label
