Hi Everyone, I've seen a few Northern 45s on Columbia where it's a rush reservice white label pressing. Would this be acceptable to play out as OVO? Many thanks.

That version of "I Learned The Hard Way" is absolutely brilliant! Can't wait to see them in Orlando in March (just a couple of days before SoulTrip)!

I've heard quite a few samples of this and am really impressed. This is going on the wish list, as is the 45.

Dee Dee Sharp
I personally prefer "The Night" to listen to. I remember the first time I had a copy of the Ride 45 with picture sleeve (good record, poor sleeve) and played the flip -- I was absolutely blown away -- goosebumps and all!

Morris Chestnut - Too Darn Soulful
Hi Everyone, It looks like this chap has sold about 5-6 copies on eBay at various points in the last 2 months, with a combination of correct DJ copies with the proper label on the proper side and the labels reversed. I had a stall at a record fair yesterday I host, and this chap offered one of each (correct and reversed labels). I had a chat with someone today that recommended getting the correct label copy but passing on the reversed labels. Thoughts? Cheers, Tim

Morris Chestnut - Too Darn Soulful
Hi All, Someone today offered me a mint/mint- Morris Chestnut - Too Darn Soulful promo 45. There are two copies. One has the correct labels, while the other has the labels reversed. Both are in beautiful Amy company sleeves. Any idea on value these days? Also, can anyone please let me know what should be etched in the deadwax? These are in the States, so they are not likely boots -- they looked proper to me. Many thanks! Tim

Record Cleaning Cloths
I have cleaned records for years (when needed) with a soft chamois cloth you would find in the car maintenance section. They're soft, but they also clean off the dirt very well and do no damage to the record. Cheers!

Judy Freeman & Blackrock - Hold On Rca 74-0493 Promo
Hello everyone, I wanted to offer this 45 first on Soul Source, as I've had great experiences selling on here. I've got a promo version of Judy Freeman and Blackrock, RCA 74-0493 yellow label for Hold On w/Walk A Mile In My Shoes. The labels are in VG+ condition with light ring wear on A and EX-/VG+ on B. The 45 visually grades between VG and VG+ on A and VG on B (nonfeelable marks on B). Side A plays VG on the intro crackly a bit, then plays between VG and VG+ 1/3 of the way through the song, then plays very close to VG+ with loud, clear, enjoyable play on headphones. Side B plays VG with crackles on the intro briefly, then VG to VG+ (almost VG+, but not quite) with loud, clear play. There is a very faint background noise, but the music is louder than the background noise. The record plays on B loud and clear, playing EX-, with just a crackly bit at the outro. I can e-mail you sound clips so that you can hear a sample of both sides if you'd like. I'm asking $350 US and will consider all sensible offers. Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Xmas Presents For The Soul
Rhino.com had the Wilson Pickett box set for $59.99 US for one day only, so it'll be under the tree this year. It's normally $90-$100. Add free postage onto that = result!

Another U.s. Postage Joker !1
Hi Everyone, I have about 1500 45s and 50 and counting LPs on eBay at timsmusicshop, and I definitely don't make postage up. It's whatever the postage is + $1.25 to cover the mailer and cardboard inserts, no more. I can get 7-10 45s into one mailer, so postage works out to be cheap via first class air. I do use Express mail for dearer bits, as it's trackable.

Will there be a webcast or any way to view this afterward for those such as myself who can't make the 8,000-mile round trip, but would love to?

Beatin Rhythm - Manchester moves
Whenever I fly over from the States, I always pop into Beatin' Rhythm at least a couple of times! I can't wait until my next jaunt into Kingbee, but not sure if that's happening this year or not.

Hello, This Is Reality Calling
Dave, I don't even know if you could get 85p in the States for this record unless it was a minter.

Hello, This Is Reality Calling
I was browsing my local Craig's List postings when I saw this. I would hate to see what they'd price soul 45s at. Apparently they don't deliver either! https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/emd/1949998086.html Dion - The Wanderer 45 - $85 Other bargains include an American Pie 45 for $30 and many others. Amazing.

Christopher - Sweet Music Amy 45 + George Carrow - Angel Baby Columbia 45
Hi Everyone, At some point in buying and selling and collecting 45s, I'm sure all of us think about the ones that got away. There are only two 45s I really regret selling and not keeping. I'm wondering if anyone has either one of these in M- condition, stock copies preferred, please. Christopher Cerf/Sweet Sweet Music on Amy George Carrow/Angel Baby on Columbia Many thanks! Tim

Cellar Full Of Motown Volume 4
Hi All, I've finally had a listen to both discs. While there are definitely some clunkers on this, the standout track for me (and the one I've popped in just to play this track) is David Ruffin - In The Cool Of The Night -- it ticks all the boxes for me! Tim
