  2. Sold pretty much all of my old Goldmines off over the last year or so, and got an average of about £6 each for them, and I thought that was doing well!
  3. There's no shortage of sad f***ers on the NS scene. Reckons he's sold 4 already.
  4. Just seen these three go this evening on Ebay, all from the same seller. Good luck to the guy. All the buyers' identities were kept secret. Is it me, or has the world gone mad? Mamie Lee - I Can Feel Him Slipping Away - MGM £206.55 Carol and Geri - On You Heartache Looks Good - MGM Demo £379.00 Ann Sexton - You've Been Gone To Long - Seventy 7 £155.00
  5. Thanks Kev. Cleared up nicely.
  6. If anyone were ever to ask, just what is soul music, just play this trilogy. If they don't get, they're lost beyond any hope of redemeption. Just plain awsome.
  7. This is one of my all time faves, but the price seems to go up and up. Is it really so rare as to command a £300 price tag? I know it will always sell for whatever someone wants to pay for it, but, with at least three available all at the same time, I just wonder. Incidentally, does anyone have the lowdown on the 70s British issue? Is it legit, or bootleg? Thanks John
  8. Sent you a message.
  9. A fair point, only the Rondevu is rare and underplayed OVO. The rest are oldies and Motown so far as i know.
  10. Just to add to Nigel's list, the Rondevu is the 3rd Sunday (alternate months, as said). It looks like the 2nd Sunday is available, unless anyone knows different. There'll be plenty of local DJs happy to spin a few tunes for you, I reckon, but make it vinyl (at least), and OVO for personal preference. Roughly where in the city centre are you? Cheers John

  12. Eloise Laws arrived arrived quickly and safely. Thanks very much Henry. Top service.
  13. Am I missing something here? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ISLEY-BROTHERS-Why-When-Love-Is-Gone-MONSTER-northern-soul-dancer-M-45-LISTEN-/371149724199?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item566a3f5a27&autorefresh=true
  14. Chuffin' 'eck! Only recently got a Buttercup demo for way less than that. Wish I'd held on to my Route copy now.
  15. Somebody did well there.
  16. It's been suggested to me by someone I know who has a real one is that the number scratched in the deadwax of the boot is In-6311, and In 6311 on a real one. There's some good info in JM's bootleg guide as well. Never released on Demo.
  17. No chance of getting over to Chicago. Is there any possibility that this show might be recorded and posted on the internet later?
  18. So, £216 on John Manship's auction. Anyone got anything rational to add? It's a great two-sider, but.....
  19. I gave mine away a couple of years ago when it was fetching about a fiver. It wasn't worth the hassle of listing it. There were already 5 or 6 on Ebay alone!
  20. A few Motown singles to move, £5 each. Postage £2 in UK. Postage abroad can be worked out. All VG+ or better. Full refund if not happy with condition. Paypal preferred. Please send me a PM if interested. Thanks for looking. John. 21. This is a very good version. Not quite what I expect from Santana, a band I've always liked. Maybe not quite the Impressions, but that's a pretty high bar to overcome anyway.
  22. I'm regularly asked at my post office what the package contains, and they've never mentioned that records are exempt from their £500 insurance cover. In fact, they've recommended it. How confusing is that?
  23. Thanks Pete, thanks Chalky. Missed the earlier topic. Appreciated.
