Also guesting on the night (no pun intended) is Alan "Gegga" Guest the other half of the infamous Boots, Bellies and Braces who has kindly offered to supply the Jamaican sounds for the evening. They along with the usual residents will give you the eclectic mix of Soul, RnB, Ska, Reggae and much more that is Kaleidoscope. Hi all, a little bit short notice but hope you can join us at the Hopetown WMC on the 16th December for our Kaleidoscope Xmas party. All the regular Djs will be in attendance except Mr Perkins who unfortunately will be playing his musical biscuits elsewhere. You lovers of the Jamaican vibes need not be too concerned because one of the guest DJ's on the night is Trojan Explosions very own A1 Glyn. Second guest DJ on the night will be Dave Williamson who last played for us in 2019 at the Kaleidoscope/Awol weekender. Among other things Dave co hosted the "infamous" Captain Scarlets nights at the White Rabbit in Leeds. Expect an eclectic mix of Soul, RnB, Ska, Reggae and much more played through an old school sound system, cheap bar, large dance floor and carpark. Also free entry on the night as our Xmas present to you all.

Next installment of Kaleidoscope is on 27th January, and it's less than week away now, so I hope you all are polishing your dancing shoes in preparation. Along with the usual residents we are please to firstly announce that we have Stewart Simpson who has kindly agreed to guest for us on the night, expect a mixture of soul classics and rnb gems from this man. Secondly but not lastly we have spared no expense (literally) to secure the services of Andy Yorkie who will delight us with sounds from Jamaica. Take heed this may be the last chance you get to see Andy in his natural habitat before he retires into a life of reclusiveness. Its been a while but now hopefully we're back with a vengeance. New venue and improved sound system for your greater listening pleasure. Expect an eclectic mix of Funky Soul and upbeat RnB laced with sweet sounds of Jamaica. Throw in a bit of 60's Garage and Psych and we really going down that rabbit hole. Kaleidoscope an elactic mix of R&B, Soul, Ska and 60s sounds. Little late with the first Kaleidoscope of the year, but it's finally here. Expect a friendly atmosphere and old school club night vibe. Dance the night away to the usual mix of 60's based RnB, Soul, Garage, Latin and the sweet sounds of Jamaica, or just chill and let the music intoxicate you. Nicholas Jeremy Clarke has kindly agreed to be guest DJ on the night, it has been just under 3 years since Nick was here last (how time flies) Nick loves his RnB and also Jazzy and Hammond grooves. Kaleidoscope an elactic mix of sound of soul, ska, funk, r&b and garage Sat 27th November will be the first and last Kaleidoscope of the year. Expect music, beer and dancing - Guest DJ on the night will be Dave Williamson. Dave has in the past co DJ'd at Awol and co hosted the Captain Scarlett night's in Leeds, he is a avid record collector who has a passion for psych and garage.
