Chuck Corby Live In Uk at NCSC Allnighter Wolverhampton July 26 2008

July Allnighter at Brookfields Wolverhampton featuring Chuck Corby LIVE

Chuck Corby is appearing at the July 26th Allnighter at The Stables Brookfield Wolverhampton

A free Chuck Corby cd will be available on the door at the 31st May Allnighter

Throughout the 1960s and 1970s Chuck Corby recorded a series of singles for labels such as Sound, Chess, Spectre and most importantly Joe Averbachs Fee Bee label. Just as his name was changed by Averbach to reflect his output and gain black radio plays, so he changed the name of the various band names as  well, The Entrees and The Encounters being just two, in 1968 he dubbed the group of hired hands as the "Soul Communicators" for the release of "Those Lonely Nights"

While still performing regular in the USA, the forthcoming appearance at the New Century Allnighter Wolverhampton on the Saturday  26th July will be the first in the UK!

To give NCSC people a taste of just what's on offer at the allnighter, a free cd will be given out at the May Allnighter this week ( May 2008) which will feature full tracks of some of his material.
