Soul II Sole  Are very happy to welcome you to our second event of the year and after the resounding success of our first event we want you to get this firmly in your diary as you’ll not want to miss a thing  ..!! 

Soul II Sole are delighted to welcome back the extremely talented  Andy Jackson and if you’re unfamiliar with Andy we can only say where have you been hiding ??! 

Andy brings with him his wealth of knowledge from many live gigs as well as running his own Radio show  

When Andy visited us last we asked him to write his resumé and we felt it was too good not to share again  so without further adieu let Andy  Jackson introduce himself ... 

Andy jackson resume Blinkers Off! Used to be my favourite phrase when talking to people about Nu Soul. Having first been inspired by Northern Soul in the 70s, like almost everyone, I always wanted to hear something different, new, soulfull. From then until now I have searched out the latest soul offerings from around the world and never been scared to drop an unheard track into my set. Many many years of djing and presenting both live and on the radio have given me the opportunity to introduce listeners and dancers to something they won't have heard before. There are more Soul DJs now than there has ever been but very few pay attention to the large space in front of them and the people sat around it. In my world that is the wrong way round. There should be no space and many empty seats. As I can't bear to be without my Soul during the week I host two radio shows on www.jfsr.co.uk. Infiniti (Sundays 8-10pm) and Groove On (Wednesdays 2-4pm) both shows have totally opposing playlists with Infiniti concentrating on the best of the new releases and Groove On spanning the decades and genres from 60s to Y2K.

In 2017 I was mostly busy playing Jazz Funk, Nu Soul, Modern Soul and Soulful House up and down the UK. Was Resident at the massive Margate Soul Festival, Bridlington Weekend Modern Room, Long Eaton Boogie Room, Costa Del Soul, Sheffield City Hall and Bless The Funk Weekend I got to share my love of Soul with many different people. My favorite phrase now is You Can't Say Modern Soul without saying MMMMM :-)so There you have it !!! 

Soul II sole continues to grow as a club offering the latest modern Soul Sounds ....Smooth Steppers .. Soulful House .. Nu Soul and Cool Jazzy Vibes 

Our djs are second to non .. handpicked for their expertise in their field and sheer enthusiasm behind the decks ... we can guarantee you won’t be sitting down for long.
