Soul Ii Sole Presents Paul Phillips Mark Randle

Soul II Soles May 12th Edition will soon be upon us and we are getting a serious buzz about this one ..!! 
We have the pleasure of introducing not one but two top DJs both of whom will bring their very own unique blends to Soul II Sole.
Mark Randle is no stranger to us and we are incredibly pleased to welcome him back behind our decks for the fourth time. 
Mark is a very well respected DJ and alround top bloke who has already had a very busy year so far appearing as Resident DJ at Leicester king Power Modern Room, Prestatyn Soul Weekender in Lunars Modern Room and Alfreton Modern Soul night to name but three. 
Along side regular guest appearances at Soul Underground, Soul Fusion, Rugby and Cleethorpes and the long running now defunct Hinckley Soul Purpose. With Marks keen ability to hunt out the very latest Modern Soul we know we’re in for another great night. 
Our Second DJ again will be known to you and the Owner of Saturday nights VNC and one of the very best Radio djs in the business. 
Solar Radio’s very own Paul Philips !! 
Paul’s twice weekly radio shows command huge followings as Paul’s sublime knowledge and choice of all things modern and soulful is very well known. 
Paul’s career spans an amazing 40 years when he first discovered his love of Soul from listening to Greg Edwards and Mike Allen on Capital radio, Robbie Vincent ( London Radio) and the original Soul Pirate Radio Station Invicta. 
As more Pirate Radio stations appeared on the 80s airwaves  playing Soul, Funk and Jazz Paul began his life long love of record collecting. 
In 1982 Paul began his very own Pirate Radio Station, gaining a cult following around South East London until he had his transmitter and studio equipment confiscated in 1985 by the DTI. 
The following year Paul answered an ad put out by Starpoint FM for new presenters which lead to five years of running regular shows and using his own engineering skills honed from having his own radio station. 
Playing all the newest releases as well as Classic 70s and 80s Paul continued to broadcast appearing regularly at the official site station at Southport Weekenders until joining Solar Radio in October 1998. 
Paul continues to travel far and wide collecting obscure 70s and 80s Soul and was approached by Joey Negro ( aka Dave Lee) of Z Records to compile his Volume II of Under The Influence. 
So there we have it ... 
Paul’s Virtual Night Club will become a reality (alongside Mark Randle and Soul II Soles very own Steve Hodson )
At Hinckley Football club “The Greene King Stadium ( please note the change of venue for this event) 
And of course there will be Chocolate ...!!!
