Soul Ii Sole Presents Paul Goldsmith

Autumn already .... where did our Summer go ..??!!
But what a good one we’ve had !! 
Here we are with our final two gigs of the year and we all look forward to those dark cosy nights but we also have lots still to look forward too musically and no more so than at our next Soul II Sole. 
Mark ..Steve and myself are looking forward to bringing you yet more Nu Soul and as always your favourite floor fillers and mixes. We’ve had a Summers worth to listen to and collect ( that’s Mark for you !!x) 
We also bring you a new to Soul II Sole “Guest dj”. 
Many of you may know him  if you travel about to get your Soul fix but others may not know of the djing talents we bring you by the name of Paul Goldmith .......
When asked to provide a bit of background information about himself he appeared a little concerned that there might be nothing to tell but we can assure you from the information Paul has provided that this man knows his stuff ... other promoters know that he knows his stuff and after October 13th so will you !! 
So I asked Paul a bit about himself and his early and current dj status. 
what was the first record he ever bought ? and with knowing that it was Tom Browns Funkin for Jamaica we know we’re on the same page from the start !! 
Born in London, moving to Bedfordshire at the age of 3. 
Growing up and attending early Caisters, Southport, Norfolk Village and many concerts up and down the country including Maze 4 times!
Paul’s musical interests when I asked him are “new music and….errrr…new music” lol  
Paul tells me as far as djing he had done nothing  in earnest since his early twenties but got an opportunity to join Starpoint in 2009 and he’s been there ever since. 
Shortly after he became exposed to many other fantastic nights, in the North West particularly, mostly north of his home in Milton Keynes. 
Paul’s current claims to fame now are quite impressive having been resident with Soul Underground since 2009, Vybe from 2011, Freestylin’ from 2012, at LSW since 2014 and now Hustle as well as Bolsoul.
So things look great for Paul And we hope he finds a very welcoming and appreciative audience here at Soul II Sole too !! 
So after all that it’s a case of get this in your diary. !! We’re only 3 weeks away !!
