Edgeley SK Soul Club since our first night in March 2024 has gone from strength to strength. We now have an event every month. Our soul nights are always on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Put a note in your diary.
In September 2025, our venue underwent a make-over. The club has been re-decorated, new carpets laid, new lighting installed and the dance floor has been substantially increased in size. It looks brilliant.
We have a core of top class local DJ's who play across the board Northern Soul and Motown mixed with the occasional R&B. All our DJ's are free to express themselves as they wish and they always do. Expect a mixture of "Rare and Underplayed" as well as a few Northern Soul classics. We have a policy of "Original Vinyl Only" which we believe adds to the experience, as our guests can always expect and will receive quality soul music.
Our DJ line up on Saturday 11 October 2025 is Carole Burgess, Steve Skopek, Dave Beech, Steve Foran and Dave Hargreaves.

Ewloe Sports ans Social club is easy to find just off the North Wales expressway on the B5127 with a massive car park. Ritzy Saturday nights just seem to be getting better and better at the moment, so we're properly excited about October's soul fest with two top class signings when it comes to the guest DJs.

TOMAS McGRATH
100 Club resident for the last decade or so and one of the best DJs on the scene. Tomas hardly ever plays outside of the 100 Club so we're really blessed to have him play at the Ritzy. Quality rare soul played with the dancers in mind. Perfect.
STEVE 'MR FISH' CLANCY
Known as undisputedly one of the heaviest collectors on the scene, Steve has an insane and very hot box that will pack out the floor! He loves his early 70s soul, so expect heavy dancefloor action!
We also really pleased to have Josh Penning and Oscar Mitchinson from Bristol underground soul club CURSE OF LOVE to kick off proceedings and simmer us all to boiling point...

SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.
Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.  It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night. 
Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, and LISA HURLEY make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.
The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.
