The same team that brought you the Manchester European Soul Weekender back in early 2010, proudly presents to you the inaugural Home Run Soul Club Weekender!
3 days and 3 amazing venues situated on the Oxford Road corridor, a beating heart of Manchester's City Centre. From Grade ll listed buildings and basement clubs, to exclusive rooftop terraces all within 300 yards of each other... Home Run Soul Club Weekender is shaping up to be one of the finest on the planet!
Early bird till Jan 31 - SOLD OUT
Next Round of Tickets - HERE

Let us introduce the venues:
Friday night: Revolution, Oxford Road -
A stone’s throw from Oxford Road Train Station and opposite our main venue (literally across the road), Revolution Oxford Road has been a keystone of the Manchester music scene and it's where our Weekender begins, upstairs in the private bar, full wooden floor throughout with a bespoke sound system installed for your listening and dancing pleasure. A perfect intimate setting to kick things off!
Saturday Day & Night: Refuge, Oxford Road -
Our jewel in the crown, the Refuge. The venue where we hold our residency, Home Run Soul Club!
The Refuge is simply stunning! there's no other way of describing such a unique and historic building. Located within the iconic Kimpton Clocktower Hotel (formally the Palace Hotel), this Grade ll listed space features a grand, industrial age interior with soaring ceilings, intricate tiling and warm lighting that creates a welcoming, yet a blow ya socks off vibe!
Our day event will be spent in the Main Bar upstairs. A superb, 1920s style bar, a perfect setting for our DJ’s to throw down some smooth across the board dayer sounds. There is also a dining area just behind the bar and the spectacular Winter Garden.
Saturday evening till late, we move down a level to the unique 1960s style club space in the basement of the Refuge. It has that cosy feel of walking into a great old English cellar boozer, but with the added bonus of a full wooden dance floor, low ceilings and our pin-sharp bespoke sound system that has fast become known as one of the best on the scene.
If that's not enough, the club creates its own Home Run Soul Club beer for our events which is available on tap in collaboration with Seven Brothers Brewery.
Sunday Day: Farewell drinks at YES, Charles St -
For our grand finale, we'll be occupying one of the coolest spots in the city. This chilled affair to see us over the line will be held at YES on their wonderful rooftop terrace! That will hit the spot and help soothe any sore heads before making the journey home.

This is the third for this year of Soul2Soul Rare & Underplayed with our resident DJ Richard Elmer and Adrian Cope (Wolfies) who is filling in for Lee Fletcher, along with two outstanding guest DJs, our first is well known and has some outstanding records and has been a part of many Soul Clubs around the Coalville area so he really doesn’t need any introduction because his records do all the talking his name Mr Rob Gray. SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.
Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course. It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night.
Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, and LISA HURLEY make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.
The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square. It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.
We're now in our fourth fantastic year, and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2025. (See attached flier)
Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE. And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
