The Bongolian, AKA multi-instrumentalist and Big Boss Man front man Nasser Bouzida has returned with his fifth album ‘Moog Maximus’ this Summer. A wildly eclectic fusion of Funk, Soul, B-Boy Breaks, Jazz and Sci-Fi Boogaloo, gaining radio support from Gideon Coe, Cerys Matthews, Nemone & Chris Hawkins on BBC 6 Music (featuring twice on BBC 6 Music’s ‘Recommends Day’) and from Gary Crowley on BBC London. Nasser’s most recent release prior to Moog Maximus was with Big Boss Man whose 4th album ‘Last Man On Earth’ also received strong support at BBC 6 Music (Cerys Mathews, Craig Charles, Gideon Coe, Nemone) with the band touring Europe extensively since its release. New single ‘Googa Mama’ has been described as ”a stand out track for the Summer” and is already storming the Blow Up dancefloor – think 60s Soul meets Sci-Fi Boogaloo.
