It's back! At 20:00hrs on Saturday 4th February 2017 we are kicking off a new year with our usual blend of the finest mix of American R&B, 60's Soul,dancefloor Jazz, Latin, a splash of Ska and maybe a dash of British Beat if the mood takes us, for a musical cocktail to set you off moving.Those who've been before will know what to expect. A night of excellent tunes- new, the underplayed and classics so all tastes are catered for all across the board. 

Our guest for this month needs no introduction. We're pleased to welcome back mod DJ legend, Pid of Brum Beat. One of the best DJ's on the scene for the last 30 years and a personal favourite of ours. Naturally we're going to get DJ's whose sets we enjoy! His versatility and passion for music is boundless with constant new discoveries..
As usual, our resident guest, Mace of Federal R&B (as well as countless mod clubs in the past) will be spinning for your appreciation. He's had at least two buying trips to the States since our last night so expect plenty of top new sounds mixed in. Then the usual Pelican trio of Martin Derby, Andy Lee and Karl mixing it up and throwing their own style into the mix.

Everyone we've spoken to loves the venue. It's a smart, comfortable room with it's own bar, decent sized wooden dance floor and french doors which open onto a balcony which is the smoking area, if you smoke you don't have far to go. It's also ideal for cooling off from dancing.. It is literally just across the road from the Travel Lodge so if you're staying over that's the place to stay as it's about a 100 yard walk so no taxis neccessary. The venue (for those who like beer) is one that does speciality real ales and if you're hungry, I'm told by Martin that the food is excellent in the pub so everything is convenient for you.

All the feedback we've received after the last few nights has been complimentary so we must be doing something right as people keep coming back. If you've not been yet you've missed out so far. Get yourself over and find out for yourself just why people say they've enjoyed themselves so much.
