About The Event

For our August 18th Friday night bash we are delighted to announce our special guests will be 'Budgie' and Russ Steele. We're in for another top night with two class acts to entertain us.
As Summer continues, so does our policy of bringing you the finest rare and underplayed soul music, always only on original vinyl, with the best DJs we can find. 
We will continue to run on the 3rd Friday of the month, from 8.00pm to 12.30am and entry is still only £3. Why not come along and enjoy great and knowledgeable company, excellent beers and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Apologies for being a little late with this, but don't time fly when you're an ageing git. :-)
Many thanks, once again to all who supported us at the Horti last Friday. Special thanks must go to our guests Budgie and Russ Steele for some awesome sounds. The quality of the music never fails to impress at the Horti, and we were treated to yet more brilliant material.
I must also thank the guys at the end of the night who assisted with putting away the kit. With Alan taken ill, and my knackered back, you all saved my life. It was so very much appreciated.
Now we need to prepare for our September 15th charity event featuring the Ponds Forge and Deep End crew. This going to be a very special evening with all proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation in memory of our dear friend, Jim Smirk. If anyone has anything they would like to bring along to be raffled off, please do that. And if anyone has any ideas for further fund-raising ahead of the night please get in touch with either me or Mark Etheridge.
