I remember RS taking me to Anglo American one Saturday morning, Tim's normally closed on Saturday but he opened up especially for his highness.

This was before he started doing auctions, so if it was there it was for sale and Romona Collins was there with Dickies name on it.

It was great being one of the in-crowd for a day.🤩

However there's one part of the day that seems a bit fuzzy, I seemed to remember Tim took us to the pub and bought us lunch after we'd spent a small

fortune with him, but after getting to know him all of these years later, there's no way that can be true. He lives borderline Yorkshire.thumbup

Great story Bob...

Here's a real quality tune, that you'll only hear played at certain venues, simply because of its rarity. Sharing the same backing as the Whispers, The Dip, I first heard this played by our esteemed guest Tim Ashibende when he played at the Shirt Club in Radcliffe a while back and it went straight on to the 'want's list...Looking forwar to hearing this on Saturday thumbsup

Looks like CULCHETH resident Simon Ingham has been adding to the playbox recently, so I'm pretty certain this gem with be getting a spin on Saturday

Exactly mate. I think he was buzzing from selling some records to 3 Lancashire lads on a Saturday morning, 😜
