I'll start the first of our mini profiles of our 2 guest DJ's with the same statement as I end them

Next up is Callum Arnott who brings with him bags of enthusiasm and a mighty fine ear for Northern Soul for the Dancefloor'

He has played at the fantastic well known in the Midlands area electric club Wolverhampton plus a regular DJ spot at Rockland's Redditch and previously started up a night with a good pal of mine Elliot Sutcliffe called that driving beat playing the best of northern R&B soul at Elmer's arms Bristol fantastic alternative venue!

For this anniversary event we are really excited to welcome 2 guest DJ's who we know take 'no prisoners' when it comes to dancefloor reaction

First up we have Keiron Taz Robathan a name well known on the Northern Soul Scene in the UK and beyond

Taz was a really close friend of the dearly loved DJ and all round nice guy Ted Massey RIP. In fact on many occasions DJ'd with Ted at numerous events all over the UK showcasing his mighty mighty 'penchant' for Northern Soul. A DJ who is highly in demand EVERYWHERE...

To say we are chuffed to have him on at our special anniversary event is putting it mildly !!

If you come across 3 grown men giggling like schoolkids on the night...that'll be Paul. Geese and me !!!

RIGHT NEXT UP...again we are really chuffed to have on Callum Arnott...one of the 'new breed' of DJ's who are currently having such an impact on the scene.

We aren't afraid to introduce new faces to our decks who we know will bring an extra dimension to the 'Full on Northern Soul for the dancefloor' experience

Callum again is very much a 'demand' DJ and its a real coup for us to have him on here..bringing his slant on 'Full on Northern Soul for the dancefloor' plus bags and bags of enthusiasm...... !!

ps : Just a few 'housekeeping notes and polite requests

Can we ask that if you really need to use talc...can it be kept to a bare minimum(if at all) and not sprayed liberally over the floor area..it really is a nuisance for the staff tending the floor afterwards and in low lighting can be a slip hazard

Can we also ask if anyone wants to video the dancers can they please refrain..its important that we protect peoples privacy

Can we also ask that you don't consume drinks etc not purchased from the bar..it has been brought to our attention that empty bottles/cans have been found that haven't been purchased from the venue.

Your co-operation in these matters is greatly appreciated

Finally can we also remind people the last entry will be strictly 10.45pm..we think as we open at 7pm nearly 4hrs is plenty time to get there and it gives our door staff opportunity to ensure the rest of the night continues to run smoothly

Just a 'heads up' for those who wanna make a 'night' of it and stop over Travelodge are doing rooms for less that 70 quid....just over 5 mins taxi ride to the venue !!!

Can we ask that you refrain from using talc....it really is a nuisance for the staff tending the floor afterwards. and the venue is in constant use and its unfair for other users to come into to a talc filled floor...many many dancers I speak to say its not needed on this floor anyway

Finally the use of talc nullifies the Public Liability insurance the venue has.....its the same for every venue
