Went to Wigan in the 70's for Motown Revival All-Nighters

(see Mark Bicknell for details!) But could an other all-nighter' be

held where every track is on the same label?

Maybe R.C.A? :D

They also did a Stateside revival at Wigan, it was a friday night, I couldn't find anyone else to go with and I remember getting my ticket at Wolverhampton station and thinking, sod this, I don't want to go all night tonight, come home then go up again the next evening, so they gave me the money back on the ticket and I went home. Thats all I can tell you about the Stateside Revival night

Not quite sure..But remember we

all went up to Wigan for a Motown Revival

and we went back to my mums in Widnes in

a transit van for toast!! Memories... :D

Bugger me how the devil are you mate, that was long long ago when were still all in short trousers lol

Not a bad idea if we all have enough music per label for it to work RCA and Atlantic/stax would be my pick or

Philadelphia but surely someone's gonna say more of a 70's soul output and disco etc not enough Northern or more Modern then Northern

Chess

Atlantic

Stax

Okeh

Just remember here - say its an 8 hour session, you're going to need in the area of 150-170 records. Most of those labels I can see just about managing that at a push, but Okeh? Granted it was a reasonably large label with good output suited to the northern soul scene, but are there that many quality tracks on it?
