July 8, 200915 yr Is this a boot or a legit issue? i don't think mike noriega would bootleg something and then put his name on it but who knows. he did legitimately do lee silver stuff, this is probably also legit. I like his label design.
July 8, 200915 yr Is this a boot or a legit issue? It says on the listing, that it was done with Miles Grayson......sounds legit to me.....nice looking label too.
July 8, 200915 yr $30 seems a bit steep for a new issue, though https://cgi.ebay.com/...alenotsupported Edited July 8, 200915 yr by J-Brew
July 8, 200915 yr $30 seems a bit steep for a new issue, though https://cgi.ebay.com/...alenotsupported £20ish, not bad for the tune i'd say, especially IF they are limited press. Wasn't it on a 100 club anniversary single, which would probably cost 3 times that (not suggesting a like for like of course).
July 8, 200915 yr Interesting one this, i thought Kent got the original unissued tapes then put them out (not sure which was first) on a compilation cd"Masterpieces Of Modern Soul" and the (already mentioned) 100 club anniversary single. I have both of the aforementioned releases, but seeing as this is from producer Miles Grayson then it only adds to the collectability of this wonderful sound. hell i want one.........................ps is this a third issue though ?
July 8, 200915 yr I find this whole thread fascinating, purely from a collectors viewpoint, i have grown up and have had it rammed down my throat that you must chase and buy only the original records. But this seems to have totally turned that ethos upon it's head, like it's come almost come full circle..............Hell where does that leave me when i wanna' play this sound out at a night............. Just a bit of fun folks but it is one to think about............isn't it..........?????

If the only previous releases are on CD and on Kent then this is the original U.S. first issue i'd have thought. I'll certainly have no problems playing it out on Noriega.

Agreed, no problem at all about playing it out matt, but it is wonderful how the first Uk vinyl release is the genuine first issue. Then around 6 years later ( purely on vinyl release dates) the American 45' is released, like i posted earlier..no big thing, i just like the way this strange juxtaposition of the "original ethic" has developed.......purely in this case i may add.... too be honest i don't really care for the song.........too in "your" face for me........ but Jesus.... horses for courses and all that..............
July 30, 200915 yr it would be nice to hear the views of the kent label guys to this,.............. if the right people get the revenues whats the problem, i bought 1 . prob pass it on after a while, as i do . ezzie

It would have been nice to be forewarned though!
August 15, 200915 yr He would have been better off making it his newest release on the "Flodavieur" label, and renaming her "Debra Bullard"...........
Is this a boot or a legit issue?
