Posted August 4, 200915 yr just looking through me records came up on this stuart ames angelina oh angelina on j and w dj copy record number is djjw-1000 same record both sides dose any one no what it worth only paid a fiver but cant find it in any catalogs thanks
August 4, 200915 yr Still worth a fiver - it's a 1986 bootleg. Came out around the same time as the Tommy Navarro batch on De Jac. Both these boots have the strange 4-prong centre hole, which looks like a centre's been removed from them. An original Stewart Ames has "Queen For A Day" on the flip. August 4, 200915 yr absolutely massive at stafford, this is a boot though as has been said, king for a day is the flip of the original and one of me fave tunes ever(king for a day)
August 4, 200915 yr King for a day Cheers Richard Cheers Richard - was confusing it with the US TV quiz series "Queen For A Day", which this title was probably a play on!
August 4, 200915 yr thanks still glad i got it though king for a day great tune Have you heard Jock Mitchell - No Mad Woman - Golden Hit? It has the same backing as King for a Day. Every recording I have heard has a hiss right from the start. The hiss varies in length though. On some it lasts a few seconds whereas mine lasts half way through the record Edited August 5, 200915 yr by jumpinjoan
