Keith is one of the most under-rated DJs on the scene, always plays to the crowd, can play a variety of genres and he has some AMAZINGLY rare records too....

Just book him!

Pretty much same boat with me Keith but a little more out of choice rather than actually wanting to DJ anymore on a regular basis, I don't think I could hold a candle to what you have to offer the scene record wise but it can eat away at you and in the end you can end up turning your back on it, I guess it's down to how important you think it is to be able to make a contribution? and let's be honest since the year dot it's often been about 'Jobs for the boys' and it's no different now, if the Droylsden thing works out mate you are very much on my short list of DJ's, guy's that I respect and who can cut the mustard musically, you certainly fall into that group.

yep pretty much right Mark, not what records people have but what circle you move in,always been treated well by your good self as

i worked for you at various venues hyde/bury/winsford/ etc and lots of other people too, lads that support me when im on (you know who you are)

but with only about 2 spots this year,do i need all my records-----no

it hit home when people were telling a lad who was on at a venue i did, what a great spot he played, and all the big tunes were boots

some people say--does it matter but if people didnt buy the original and get it popular, there wouldnt be a demand for the boots

i havnt played a boot in my spot since i worked for chris burton in the 70s--if it aint orig it dont hit the deck

anyway enough from my soapbox

ta Mark--

Well said both of you, just about sums the whole subject up. Anyway Keith I'm looking forward to your spot tomorrow at J17. People but some of these wonderful tunes before he decides to put them back in his box!!!!
