As per request here's another Sunday picture quiz. Just a bit of fun so feel free to join in - no shame in having a punt.

As usual our mystery person is a non-soul related artist who has had at least one tune played on the Northern Soul scene. I'll take questions to which I can answer 'yes' or 'no' - and will provide extra clues if we're really struggling.

Here we go then. This guy had a couple of substantial hits that he's better known for than the any Northern connected material

Is it Curtis Lee ??

Bingo! Well done.

Curtis Lee (born 28 October 1941, Yuma, Arizona, U.S.[1]) is an American singer of the early 1960s and, twice over, one of the beneficiaries of 1961 productions by Phil Spector. These were "Pretty Little Angel Eyes" (U.S. #7) and "Under the Moon of Love" (U.S. #46).

and of course this...

Nice and quick this week. Ta for joining in everyone

Just to clarify the clues:

Both hits covered in the UK by Rock 'n Roll revivalists Showaddywaddy.

No relation to Curtis Lee and KCPs who did "Everybody's Going Wild" A Northern side that's pretty unusual due to its prominent yodelling.

Great Stuff Godz..., and well done that man!

Think Charlie Gracey is a deadringer for Tommy Steele,.. Que? good.gif

Do we really have to wait a WHOLE WEEK for another quiz???
