This is how mine looks. yes.gif

Was this ever booted? g.gif I can just feel the raised stamp marks on the lable and mine has DV1005 scratched in the run out grooves. The flip side "Thats not half bad" is a nice track also.

Didn't track it but did John Manship auction have one on a few week ago? What did that go for? You got a reserve price MB (no need to answer if you prefer not to)

Gene Woodbury wasn't disovered for a good 3 to 4 years after Bernie Williams, Williams first Wigan play 1974, Woodbury 1978.

totally agree, remember first nite GW was played c/up, sure it was RS who spun it? BW was played years before it as Pete says.yes.gif

Hello All..........

Just a quick observation. I`ve just listened to both versions again back to back,[which i had done before a few times]. Thing is, i was always under the impression that they they shared the same backing track, the only major difference being that Gene Woodbury could actually sing in tune ! I now realize, after having listened again to both, that Bernie Williams, though undoubtedly rarer by a long chalk, has quite a heavier backing track while the Gene Woodbury has a much lighter and "Jazzier" feel to it but still superior vocally[ as i remember it]..........thumbup.gif Or is it down to Rarity ? sleep3.gif The King is most definately in the altogether i reckonrolleyes.gif

Good luck with the sale Mark, its a class tune.......

I think it's the same backing track myself but it's got added percussion and is slightly speeded up, just a couple of revs.
