Hi can anyone give me some information on this track. I seem to remember hearing this was originally an LP only track.

If so whats the name of the LP and how rare is it (value etc).

Any information appreciated

Regards

Colin

Think the L.P was a Japanese release. Not to worry however as it came out on a 45, twice! The first was on a UK release 'Soul Series' with a kind of 'Stateside' look about it. Can't remember what the other label was but I'm sure someone on here will enlighten you or correct me.

In the Kev Roberts book i read it's unreleased

"Discovered by true Northern soul original brian rae on an obscure us cd, this 67 unreleased cut is of absolute stunning quality. made for the scene -well not quite- but it's as if producer quinton m claunch 'knew something........"

came out on that soul series also on southern arts reiss/boot, think that was b/w charles sheffield

theres a thread on here somewhere about this with all the ins and outs boot or not

this is what mannys site says about the copy of which i have one TORCH 001

This from the vaults juggernaut of Memhis Northern Soul dancer was only a track off a JAPAN CD. This the small UK 45 press from 1998. Check sound clip, & prepare yourself for an out-of this-world previously unissued Goldwax session of mega proportions!

Apart from the Brian Rae bit the rest of that is wrong. It's a 1969 recording and it first appeared on a Japanese CD.

Pink anniversary record wasnt it,Chris Kings do (burntwood ?)......released on Jap lp.

I had just sold a Japanese LP few days back. Now I have two singles bought from the UK. See images.

The single on Touch label has a sam flip but Xclusive single has Percy Milem "Call On Me" on the flip.
