Does anyone have the release dates for the green/black Action label releases and the first ten or so early 70s B&C releases (James Carr - Freedom Train, Jackie Lee and Delores Hall, Clyde McPhatter etc)?

I have a theory that the Action label was mothballed, and for some reason releases that should have come out on the label ended up coming out on B&C - hence the B&C labels on the final Action LP, even though the rear sleeve sports an Action logo.

This could explain the numbering of the black / green label jumping half way through it's run.
