So basically tunes that were away from the normal 'Run Of The Mill' Northern Soul tunes IMHO.. Like l said either good or bad(l'm not saying which is what though!):lol:

Five from me...In no particular order...

1) Purple Haze-Johnny Jones And The Casuals

2) Janice-Skip Mahoney

3) Paris Blues-Tony Middleton

4) Seven Day Lover-James Fountain

5) We Got Togetherness-The Jewels

Cherchez la Femme lOVE THAT !!Blue Nile - Tinsel Town In The Rain !!On the Soul SceneWhen I first heard Vincent play - The Paramounts - Girls With The Big Black Boots

BLUE NILE!!!?! Now I'm gobsmacked!

Early Wigan Levi Jackson "Beautiful Day" bellowing out in the middle of the night, Memories !!!

When a friend played Nancy Wilson - End Of Our Love, it was the first Northern Soul record i had ever heard, and was hooked after 5 seconds. That I am still loving it, and Northern Soul is a pretty fair testament of just how smacked my gob was.

Funniest thing about the Salvadors is every time we see Jo Armstead she always calls it the worst record she ever wrote!
