I think we need to get a grip here, this should be around £700 on an EX copy. Just because some nutter pays over the top doesn't mean everyone has to put their prices up. Only the greedy ones.

The price of British stuff has gone f***ing barmy the pieces im after ive given up on getting because i wont pay inflated prices Timi has fetched a grand or more a couple of times to my knowledge

I asked the guy to make a sensible offer over his guestimate of what he wanted to pay

I have a sales amount in mind and its up to me and the bloke who wants to buy it!!

Remember we arnt all dealers like ya self who need to make profit most of the time im happy to make around what i PERSONALLY paid for a record

Tend to agree with Pete .I would b willing to go to £700 but the record would need to be in EX but think it all comes down to supply and demand !! and whatever the person wants to spend on the record is up to them really ?

If I were Nige I'd want 750 minimum and if I had a minter for sale I'd want a grand for it. That's not being greedy, that's the going rate for this 45 now.

I got one around last september for 550 off Ebay, there were 4 copies in the space of a month and all went for similar prices, I sold it for 700 a couple of months later when I decided I couldn't afford to collect UK again!

You'd do yourself a big favour locking your post than letting people on here consistently bull up a 45 that's not as rare as some people would have you believe.

For what its worth and imho ...

post it up in wants .....lock it .....accept pm's or emails ..cuts out all the people who for one reason or another ,feel the need to debate the current value

Personally ...i'd buy the lp cos its a tacky tune that people think sounds good in a cliched sentimental way!
