this is my last resort for help please

i am trying to pay for a record from someone in Ireland and i always use paypal but paypal have fooked my account up and i cant no longer send any money so i have an idea

if i was to pay the money into someones bank account by a direct transfer payment from my bank account when the money is recieved could you then please pay the person for me via paypal, its a fair bit of money and ive exausted all other avenues now, its got to the stage where im so peeved off i cant think of anohter way,

if anyone can help me i would be very gratefule, please pm me if anyone can help for the details,

Just pay the cash direct to the account of the guy you're paying. It's easy to do online and there are NO FEES for either of you. Paypal is yesterday's news Mate.

I'll help you Paul. I can understand wanting to pay by this method as it affords you protection that would be lacking by direct bank transfer

Hi Dave, i wish it was that simple, his sort code is not recognised by either of my banks (nat west & Halifax) and ive been in the bank and they need and iban number and a bic/swift number and gave them all that and still couldnt do it, ive tried via my online banking and same shit his sort code aint recognised, the fella has been ultra patient and its got to the stage where ive had enough of constant calls to paypal and my banks cos they both been blaming each other and neother bank can do the international transfer for whatever reasons, its a joke and dont know what else i can do, i wish it was as easy as you said, i can pay anyone in this country directly to their account but not to the one in Ireland

HI BEARSY this is so annoying it.s happened to me sice I stopped haveing recular payments to the account, even though there is the money in the account, this is why I buy very little these days, the fact that I like to pay within 6 hours of winning makes it a bit harder, plus you can feel as if you have comotted a crime? sounds stupid but true as you are np longer in control/

could you not get one of those prepaid debit cards thing , pay the money on to it like at the post office etc then link it to your paypal account

Hi Dave, i had a week of trying to sort it out with having to have a £1 deposited by payapl into my account to get a 4 digit code that will then verify my account (which has been verified since 2009 on that particular card) to having to remove cards and accounts then add new ones but then i had to wait for the 2 deposits into my account to verify them, neither worked and paypal kept accusing my bank of rejecting them, called my bank everything ok and called the online transaction people at my bank and everything is ok and they said paypal aint treid to ask for any money, went back to pay pal and finally found someone that had some savvy and he basically said that they have fooked up and now my cards wont be accepted and the only way to get around it is to ask the banks for new debit and credit cards then add them to my paypal, in the mean time the fella that i am buying the record off has been informed daily all day long but no consolation for him it probably seemed to him im one of those twats that say they want something and never pay up anyway all sorted now but stiull no paypal, thanks for the offer Dave its much appreciated

that is an option but that means ive got to have loads of dosh on there incase a want turns up where if the money was in my account if i can afford it i will buy it, i only bought tickets for Cleggy last week via paypal then withing 2 days they fook me right up

oh well its either cheque or cash for me from now on too much grief

sorry to say mate you won't be using cheques for much longer ...the're being discontinued by the banks in 2012 anyway or around then
