Hi peeps

Just wondering what 'Jackie Trent - You baby' was originally released on?

I have seen it on the 'Casino Classics' single, but before that, what was it on?

Was it an album track or was it released on a single?

Thank you

Steve

i got mine off Ebay two years ago for £10 No other bidders ?

came out on uk pye in 1966 back with send her away

One of my favorite British double siders from early day's of collecting still have the demo and still give it a spin ( both sides) when I'm having a party on my own (most night's ) regards Tony Hatch.

Over the lst 2 years I've had an issue, a demo, and a 1 sided acetate of this off Ebay.

Great version.

Yeah, I had a punt on that hoping it would go for a lot less! ranting_1.gif

as good as len barry's version.....?

No, thats the best of the lot.

The Ronettes version is great as well.

Each to his own but I always loved 'You Baby' by Len Barry so no other version quite compares for me.

Had My copy for years after upgrading the Casino Classics release for this original PYE copy.Think it still sounds great and should get more venue plays
