the pye issue has to be the keeper with going back to detroit on the flip

but as it not that rare just keep both

Guessing that Stateside was the original and the PYE later - a 70s release I think?

Pye copy every time - the only official way to get the fantastic "going back to Detroit" on 45.

I had it on pye years ago ( bought in Bishop Auckland records shop that had tons fo stuff) sold it on stateside in 2011 now have it on Musicor. Now I am away from home until march 3 rd, what is on the flip of the musicor release cos I can't remember.

Still one of my all time favs

If you've got it on Musicor #1275, the flip side is "Sonata".

It was reissued on Musicor #1443 with "Be My Love" as the B side.

As the PYE International copy is the only way to obtain "GOING BACK TO DETROIT" on a 45 I would struggle to let it go.

As already mentioned the other copies have "SONATA" or "BE MY LOVE"

AS SOON AS I TYPED IT I REALISED WHAT WAS ON THE FLIP OF THE PYE COPY ,REMEMBER

BUYING IT ON ONE OF MY TRAWLS THROUGH THE 45 SHOPS IN OLD PORTSMOUTH MID 70'S,

HAS A T AND TOMMO IN BIRO ON THE LABEL IF ANYONE KNOWS THE CULPRIT DOWN THERE.

pye demo £25/30 i think col its books at more but probably go for less on ebay but you never know.. if your thinkin of selling ask pete smith he knows his onions on uk stuff
