HI ALL,

Need to know one or two good sites for researching the histories of artists and labels. Found a great one some time back but forgot to save it to favourites, DOH. :(

You also have Ohio Soul, Texas Soul, DC Soul, Georgia Soul etc etc......

The R&B Indies (4 x volumes) books are invaluable for US labels

(although being a tight Yorkshireman, i know you won't get 'em cos you have to buy them LOL)

You also have this site, Soul Source. We have a label of the week and an artist of the week starting every Sunday. After a week they are archived in Sharp End and there is an alphabeltical list of links to the topics. Roger does a great job looking after it all.
