for a very long time I always misread and said her name as Nella Doods. I might even have older radio shows where I said that. There's just something weird about looking at the name that makes it look wrong for some reason.

"Come see about me" was a big national hit for nella. What had happened was that the supremes had recorded it but it was only an album cut. Nella's version was the first single release of the record so was the first to get radio play and was a hit. Of course when Berry Gordy heard this he released the single by the supremes and crushed nella.
