Hello again.

I collected and made a group of samples which i had years on my pc.

Some maybe soul,funk,soundtrack,but definitely oldies(70s mostly)music.

I really like to learn title even for one of these.

Please excuse the amount,but i am a beginner (was only in 80s ''mode'' till now) so i ask everybodys help from

his general music trivia(not neccesarily soul).

It's that 2 shared website thats the problem, right in the middle of the page is a link saying 'download' which takes you to a totally unrelated page to download some crap program, so people are a bit wary of those sort of sites

Soundcloud seems to be the prefered option.

I would say sound cloud, ,mix cloud or divshare.....or youtube. I don't trust sites 2shared, don't know how legal they are when sharing music?

Soundcloud the best right now as can post a link and others can listen to the stream or even download if you allow.

I'll give you a day or two to try and sort something and then remove these 2shared links.

I did like the first sample in your second post, that was dope.

Also, all of these songs may be covers of albert collins tracks.

Well Boba,yes,as i told in my intro of this post,some few are soul(ish) samples,and most aim at everyones general music 70s knowledge.

Maybe some ring a bell to someone and this to be my lucky day.

When the samples include ethnic and weird lounge records, I don't think that even a person with general music knowledge about 70s music, no matter how deep, will know what these are. Hopefully you find something. Did you try Shazam'ing them on a cell phone?

As for shazamin' i only heard that programm,but i m not that much in technology so as to use it;)

if you have a smart phone you can download the app. you just point your phone at a song, click a button to take a sample of it, and it does audio fingerprint matching against its database. obviously most obscure stuff isn't in there but you might get lucky with a track or two.

Blimey...Just had a quick listen and no idea! I also quite like the first of the second....You ought to post the full track if you have it .

I used to like trying to get behind breaks and beats of hip-hop etc... tracks from likes of Greyboy, 4Hero, UFO, De La Soul, Jungle Bros etc...to see if I could identify and track down original soul / funk / jazz 45's or LP's, but out of practice these days... just get my daily fix from quality soul instead!

In one of the samples above somebody's even singing in a foreign language (greek?). These aren't the types of tracks people are going to be able to identify unless you get extremely lucky.

Some of these tracks were sampled by a Greek hip hop artist.Some others are included in a underground soul jazz funk mix.

The point is that most of these tracks were used by a guy who owns 30.000 records;)

that is making it difficult.
