Shane, J Manships Brit guide is quite new. Had a quick look at it on xmas day courtesy of Steve and Karen from Bradford. That looked good.

Got 3 books this xmas Backbeat Earl palmers story,Soul singers of the early 1970s a touch of classic soul by Marc Taylor,and Executioner the chronicles of a victorian hangman,which do you think was my favourite shane :shhh: .

Hi,a book I read recently although not new is Too Darn Soulful........all about the scene in the earlier years,good pics and old soulies accounts of going to all-nighters etc

Get involved with Soul Source
