Having just been alerted to this ebay sale which went through yesterday, I don't know what to say...

It appears to have gone for roughly 10 times what it's ever gone for before, and in VG condition too.

It's also the only record the winning bidder has bid on in the last month, his other bids have been on video games.

Must have been pretty keen to put 26 bids on it!

Weird. I still see this record around here in the US, I would have priced it at $25!

Least it's on the original Hiback and not the later Hirich (red label)....what's the score with that does anyone know...is Hirich a legitimate 2nd release / reissue, boot?

Crazy price - and I'd be very surprised if that bidding is legit!

The bidding looks very odd; the winner put a bid in 3 days before the end then he is outbid with 3 hours to go. From there his bids are all on the last day at regular intervals whereas the second bidders bids are nearly all automatic bids.

So the winner sat at his PC and kept bidding (after he was outbid by the second bidder) whilst the second bidder put an early high bid on it about 3 hours before the end.

I bet the bidder that came second is saying "phew" whilst the winner just has deep pockets and doesn't care. If the second bidder gets a second chance offer I think he might turn it down!

Mine IS on Hirich (RED),,,which i was assured was a later release,, I bought it off a reputable seller who you know well and is NOT known for off loading boots!

I personally have never seen an issue HIBACK issue up to now ,, ive looked in all the guides i have access to and both records are not metioned at all ,,, but most of the guides are now out dated ,, although ive read on here theres a new manship guide in 6 weeks,,i really cant see its a boot ,, bit i will of course stand corrected!

It does say on the HIRICH copy " Formerly HIBACK 109 "

I have played it out a couple of times now,,but if it is proved to be some sort of boot i will of course withdraw it from the play box,,hope someone will through more light about the Two Labels,,

I can see this one becoming a £150 record, it has the right sound for now and it's not common at all, at least on Hiback.

I got mine for about £70 a couple of years ago, and thought I paid too much, but I really liked the tune back then.

Not a tough record here Stateside. Had to laugh at the chancer promptly listing one in sales for uk300 as a "bargain", there's always one joker in the pack
