August 19, 201212 yr Here is the flip of mine labelled as the 'Long Version' - it is 4:01 long, the same as the third of your pictures platters 81 ... I assume it would be the same version? I wonder is Soulful Kinda Music would be interested in these variations? At present it is listed as: 800 - Leon Collins - I Just Wanna Say I Love You / ?

At present it is listed as: 800 - Leon Collins - I Just Wanna Say I Love You / ? i havent got the long/short demo so i cant confirm for definite...there was a good thread on this a while ago.....one thing is interesting is the mislabelling of the short vocal version on the UK EMI ISSUE as "Dynamite Explodes" (Morris Bailey..of Celestrals fame among others)...which is actually the title of the Gentle Persuasion song (US Soul Dimension/UK People).... December 19, 201311 yr The issue copy of Leon Collins. I have the demo different mix also but I think the green issue is the better mix......IMO Edited December 19, 201311 yr by Val (Chunky)
December 19, 201311 yr The ELF label that Leon Collins was released on is not the same label as the ELF label that released Clifford Curry, Bobbi Lynn, Dan Folger etc. Â The ELF label that released Hollywood Saxons etc. is yet another different label. Edited December 19, 201311 yr by Sebastian
