Fascinating Girl is bad enough, but to take one of the finest records ever made and do this to it is a crime of the highest order. What WERE they thinking?

As you say.... "Fascinating Girl" is bad ( its so bad it actually makes me laugh out loud) but George's take on 'Uphill...' is something else again ! It HAS to have been a rough demo...surely?

If you listen, his vocal is no where near as bad as you imagine - it's just the fact that the backing band are all obviousaly tone deaf

He's as flat as a pancake and the band are drunk !
