Guest Salv Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 Title: james carr - let's face facts - kent cdArtist: james carrTrack: lets face factsLabel: kent cd Record information:ok, this is the version on the kent reissue of a man needs a woman. it clocks in at 2:27, while the version on the japanese goldwax lp clocks in at 2:22. both versions fade out at exactly the same point, but the kent version must be very slightly slower than the goldwax version. i played them both at the same time - the lp on the turntable, with the cd version playing alongside as a mp3 on my laptop. i managed to synch them together perfectly near the start, but the mp3 started to lag behind. i thought this might be down to my turntable not revolving at the correct speed, but since they fade at the same point the cd must be taking longer to get there. anyway - a beautiful song, sung by my favourite singer.
