Sandy Williams version of this song was on 4 Corners of The World - a Kapp subsidiary.

Can anyone tell me anything about the artist, label, where the song was recorded please?

I know there are at least two other versions of the song by Barbara Lewis and Little Pattie.

Seen WDJ copies if Sandy Williams but is there an issue?

What is the value of a WDJ please?

Any info gratefully received.

+/- a ton i'd say. never seen an issue. best version IMHO.

she sounds like a country singer. the production is much better but she's got nothing on barbara lewis imo.

Neither the Little Pattie nor the Sandy Williams version holds a candle to Barbara Lewis', in my opinion.

There's another version by Dinah Lee on UK Aladdin, she was an Australian singer.

Hi Richard the issues are red myself and rob smith first played this at venues around nottingham in the late 70's early 80's covered as laine hill we both had red issue's but haven't seen anymore since then

I also remember hearing Dave Evison playing this around '79 when he did his spot on Radio Derby as a guest of Terry Christian.

unfortunatly not the collection i had at the time i sold to rob in 84' loads of regrets selling them . yes dave did play it on radio derby if i remember right a few demo's turned up from kev roberts and dave had one of those they where demo's though
