Absolutely gutted to have missed this, had planned to go but had to cancel, was there a good turn out ?, had the honour of DJing there last November on there Soul on Sunday, great club, the owner Warren has a fantastic vision for a City Centre Soul club and is definitely putting his money where his love and belief is (soul music)

I saw the London gig an agree it was fab. Nice to hear him perform songs recorded by others too like Summer Somethin', After The Dance and I Want You. Did you get some of Incognito as the backing band?

Yes some of Incognito were the backing band.. He was superb and singing I want you went down a storm.

Make a note of another soul legend coming to hoochie coochie in the brilliant Jean Carn.

Hope alls good.,you missed a cracking night mate ...yep the venue was rammed-and have got to agree a great advert for a City Centre Soul Club-great vibes with some good music to boot to-we had a ball [ironically we was oot and aboot in Manchester the weekend before and had a wee session at The Different Strokes 2 room soul night which was another great example of a City Centre Soul Club].mmmmm i wonder ?? City Centre/Centre City Soul Clubs...will defo be back to The Hoochie Cootchie very soon....
