Hi,

Could anyone tell me if Lenis Guess - Workin for my baby / Just ask me, has been booted or re issued,

I understand it was released on S.P.Q.R. 1002(books at £75.00) and Legrand1042.(books at £100.00), but there seems to be a masive price variant, anything from a fiver upto £70.00.

Many thanks

Mark

Also given a UK release on Route in 1975, and sells for around £10.

I think it was also booted on the "Finally" label - am I right?

It was also pressed, if my memory serves me, way way back on a black SPQR label with 'Just Ask Me' on both sides at about the same time as the Jelly Beans, Terrible Tom, etc.

Elsie Strongs version was on Finally, not sure if LG was booted on this.

Yes booted in the 70's on S.P.Q.R, gold label if I remember rightly.

and red label

Also on Orange SPQR 70s, with same track on both sides.
Amazing what you find, after all these years I didn't realise that the B side of the orange copy had the instrumental by
'The church st. gang  :)

The original on SPQR is the styrene type plastic, stick on label, and is stamped ZTSP 122833 in the run out groove.

Gold bootleg on SPQR is vinyl type plastic, with moulded on type label.

Cheers Tony - that must be what I've confused it with.
