March 25, 201312 yr Sorry not got the yellow label but have the later orange label here https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/Rarities.htm Cheers Steve
March 26, 201312 yr According to Dave Raistrick the orange is the first press, not the yellow There was a thread on here about it - some time last year I think Dave discovered the record when he was in the US and I'm sure he posted on the thread that it was the orange label copy

March 26, 201312 yr I agree Dave it matters little. Highland used whatever was available at the time, the owner wasn't one for spending money to do anything a certain way. Arthur Wright told me a lot depended on where Sid Talmedge's credit was good and who he owed money too. Anyone got deadwax details of the orange copy?
March 26, 201312 yr Bit of PR for LJD - latest release https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oewBRT-QBSQ Nice pic of Lennie Willams and LJD... Edited March 26, 201312 yr by Barry
March 26, 201312 yr What you say aout Dave is correct about finding the orange copy(s) but according to Luckey Davis the yellow was first. I'll go with that then - I've had quite a few copies on orange but only two on yellow

March 26, 201312 yr Yellow copy is the same. R-5619 881201-A R-5620 881201-B I would imagine they were pressed very close to each other. One being a second run after the first sold or they ran out of one colour label.
