Hi, Soul Selecters, hoping you're up for t'Cup today as the two towns that did so much to give birth to the music we know as Northern Soul do battle at Wembley; will it be won over 90 minutes? 3. Two -Time Loser - BRENTON WOOD (Double Shot)......VG++............nothing defeatist about this very likeable mid-paced Northern Soul dancer, a winner for sure if played out, the scene needs fresh infusions of of classy but un-costly sides like this.....................£20

4. Safe And Sound - FONTELLA BASS (Checker)..........Mint-........there was a heck of a lot more to Fontella than "Rescue Me" but you don't get to hear owt else, thus making all those other great sides still on the cheap side.
