What a voice! And lyricist... Was blown away when we first discovered 'Didn't I' back in 1990. Was a regular Gilles P radio spin even then. A true original. RIP

he has a northern connection i noticed recently. he's one of the writers on the Exits' "don't wanna hear it". I thought that was interesting. RIP.
