What would your last record ever played, at the last ever All-Nighter be:

Come home NOW! The States is obviously getting to you.

I second Miff on this one - I thought about it ... thought about songs that everyone loves singing ("It'll Never Be over for Me" , "Long After Tonight Is All Over" )... then thought again ... if I knew it was my LAST one I'd just sit in the corner all night crying like a big girls' blouse. It would be horrible whistling.gif

Not that I'd ever want this to happen but if it did :) hypothetically it would be Tommy Ridgely - My Love Gets Stronger - International City.

"Down And Out"....George Freeman........Valiant.

I'd like 10 different DJs to play a record each for the last half hour.

Maybe have the all play their copy of The Sensations - Demanding Man or summat like that ? :):D

Hammy

For me it's Jerry Butler "Stop Steppin On My Dreams".

Never took much notice of it until Bob Hinsley finished the Ritz Allnighter last Christmas ( or the year before?) with it...

Peter

Too many good enders :) hard to pick the ultimate one i think... but Wade Flemons "that other place" was the first beat ballad i fell in love with so i'll go with that :D

(othervise maybe JR Lewis "man who has everything", Johnny Maestro "stepping out", of course Bob & Fred, Roosevelt Matthews, Brooks O'dell on Bell e.tc. e.tc.)

Esther Philips - Just say goodbye - is a damn fine ender!

It sure is you old Punk you.. :D

Another damn fine ender is:

Next Movement "the letter (how did we get to this?)" (GEC Lp) but it's more for the moooduhnn guys i guess :)

Vernon Garrett - If I could turn back the hands of time.

Not really an ender, but it would be what most of us would be thinking.

:)

Cecil Washington - I Don't Like To Lose...

...it's just those last three strummed chords always used to hit right home at Wigan.

Lights Out - Zerben R. Hicks, would there be a dry eye?!

Oooooooooooooooooooh!!!! Heard the flip? :)
