Some people must think us sellers have fallen from the trees.
I sold a superb copy of The Maytals - Monkey Man the other day. There was a photo of it, looking spanking new. On the other side, someone had drawn four or five dots on the centrepiece, so I said WOL on B side.
This guy who bought it has just sent me a message saying he did not know that WOL meant Writing On Label (despite it being the most common phrase used in describing records), he thought it meant Wear On Label, despite the fact there was a photo showing the perfect label, and he wants a part refund.
You can imagine what my reply was.
I have also had someone who bought 3 records off me saying he has only received 2, despite me packing them all in the same mailer and remembering doing so.
And people wonder why we don't enjoy selling on ebay.
